Our resident England grass bowls player Tom Cawdell has organised us a night of high quality entertainment.... Yes after all the speculation of last year, we finally have our BBQ night sorted.
On the menu will be Beer, BBQ and Bowls. Yes you heard right Bowls! The venue is Luton Bowling Club, Bowling Green Lane with a start of around 7pm on Friday 30th May.
On a serious note, this will be a great crack and a good chance for all the lads to keep in touch during the 3 month break before preseason starts. Big thanks to Tom for sorting this out and we'll make sure we have a couple more nights organised during June and July for the whole team to get involved in.
Lets hope Tom raises his game this time round unlike last years Conservative Club experience haha.

End of Season Presentation Sunday 6th April 2008, 03:15 pm
I'd like to thank Tom Cawdell for helping me out and organising this years end of season presentation, it is to be held at Luton Co-operative Sports & Social Club on Stockingstone Road on Saturday 24th May 2008.
Its an open invitation to all players, family and friends. I'll get start times etc over the next couple of weeks. But obviously there will be Disco, Buffet and a nice cheap bar. There will also be a special appearance from 'Stubabs' the celebrity bingo caller - not to be missed!!!
Awards to be presented will be;
Player Campaign Awards (awarded to all squad members)
Player of the Year
Players' Player of the Year
Top Goalscorer
Wooden Spoon Award
Most Improved Player
...and there has been talk of special awards for male grooming etc to be presented by Thomas himself....haha.
Please get as many people as possible to attend and make this a great night to remember, i will need a list of names by 17th May to give to the club for fire regulations and buffet numbers, so start asking around now.

Please be aware that the fixture list until the end of the season is now up on the site, we currently have a major fixture pileup, playing 10 games in 4 weeks!!!
Let me know if you are unavailable for any of these fixtures so we can rearrange the squad if need be.
Tuesday and Thursday night fixtures have a kickoff time of 6.15pm.
Challenge Cup Final Sunday 9th March 2008, 07:52 am
After beating 61FC Reserves today 4-2 on penalties after drawing 2-2 after 120 minutes of open play, Bird and Bush have made it to the Challenge Cup Final on 30th March 2008.
Our opponents for the day are Four Horseshoes of Division 3, who beat Houghton Town 2-1 AET.
The final is being held at Kents Club, Tenby Drive for a 10.30am kickoff and we would like to see as many people there as possible cheering our lads on.

61FC Reserves Vs Bird and Bush FC
Houghton Town Vs Four Horseshoes
These are be played on the 9th March 2008, with the winners playing each other in the final on the 20th April 2008 at Kents.

Training Session Monday 31st December 2007, 02:08 pm
As we haven't played any football for a month due to fixture changes and the holiday break, we have arranged for a Training session to be held on Thursday 8pm-9pm @ Lea Manor Outdoor, in order to familiarise everyone with the round thing they call a football and try to sweat out the excessive pints devoured during Christmas and New Year.
If you can't make the session please let us know asap so we get an idea of numbers etc. Remember its another defence of the County Cup this Sunday so get your running shoes on this week and work on getting some fitness back.

Due to County Cup rearranged fixtures, our home fixture against 61FC reserves has been cancelled. The fixture will be rearranged for the new year.
County Cup News!!! Monday 10th December 2007, 10:19 am
The County Cup fixture against Houghton Park on 9th December 2007 has been cancelled due to waterlogged pitch, the rearranged fixture has been set for the 6th January 2008. We will try to get some Saturday/Sunday training sessions in before this date as it will mean we haven't played a competitive game for over a month!
The Quarter Final draw has been made and should we progress, we have been drawn away to Sir William Peel from Sandy on 27th January 2008.
